The Urban Cup

Stopped by for the first time today and had an overall lovely experience! I got the seafood chowder, the chicken salad sandwich, and a watermelon cucumber mint soda on recommendation. The service was very quick and very friendly, and the food was wonderful: the chowder was rich and creamy, the chicken salad sandwich had apples and herbs in it so it was a nice change of pace from other chicken salads, and the soda was insanely refreshing. Didn't try a coffee today, but I will definitely be back to do so!

Came in and got a BLT, and a coffee. The food was amazing, so was the coffee. I really enjoyed the vibes I received when I walked in the door. The music wasn’t loud, the building was super clean and well kept up. I will definitely be returning.

Yum! Everything is so FRESH here! And the owner is extremely nice -- by the way, she even makes the salad dressings from scratch(!). Definitely worth a stop when you're in the neighborhood.

Not from the area but in town for work ... Stopped in and loved this place so much ... loved my soda and sandwich and very nice staff and atmosphere. Definitely recommend !

I loved my iced latte it was the perfect sweetness but not overly. The food was amazing too I wasn’t expecting to get a great meal with my coffee too but I’ve gotten the egg bites for breakfast and a BLT for lunch and both are easily customizable for anything you like!

Amazing place. Best coffee in Lansing. The owner is a barista who really cares about coffee. She gets freshly roasted beans weekly (including decaf) and even bakes her own bread and pastries. She clearly loves what she does and excels at it. Don’t miss out!

Great staff. Some of the best I've ever encountered. Cool little off the grid place you may wanna check out. Great coffee. Food was awesome. And the whole place was really clean. Fairly priced. Worth stopping by.

What a great little coffee and sandwich shop! I was driving home from Frandor, badly in need of some coffee and starving for lunch. I spotted Urban Cup out of the corner of my eye and decided to turn around and check it out. I'm glad I did, what a fun little place. The gal that was working was great too. I had the Bacon - Avocado BLT as a wrap, with Cole slaw, and a Mocha latte. The wrap and coleslaw were fantastic! The coffee was ok, not the best I've ever had but better than Biggby or Starbucks. It's very small inside but a great place to stop in for lunch. They also serve craft sodas that all sounded like they'd be amazing, and Mooville ice cream.
